Six for Saturday or Sunday: Marvelous Mummies

This week's Six for Saturday post is a double dose of marvelous mummy DIY, with a collection of Halloween mummy craft ideas and edible mummy treat recipes. Have a fun and creative weekend! Clockwise from upper left:

I love how a drizzle of white chocolate, stripes of white icing, strips of fondant, ribbons of pastry (sweet or savory) or even slices of cheese can transform just about any snack into a mummy. Especially if you add in a few chocolate chips or little candy eyeballs! Olives make a great eyeball substitute for savory mummy snacks, as do nuts or seeds. Here are some cute and fun mummy treat ideas:
