Sorry folks! Due to an technical problem, we're unable to add images to our posts at the moment. Since posts without pictures aren't much fun, we will shuffle the schedule and briefly hit pause on our posts until things are back to normal - hopefully within a few days. Stay tuned - we have lots of good stuff waiting!

Six for Saturday or Sunday: DIY Reusable Food and Snack Wraps

We've been sharing DIY bags in our Monday DIYs this month as part of our personal plastic use/waste reduction, and pairing it with eco-conscious Six for Saturdays full of creative ideas for recycling, upcycling, and green crafts/DIYs.  It's not a Plastic Free July here, but every little bit helps! This week's creative inspiration is full of family-friendly reusable food and snack wraps - perfect for helping with reducing kitchen waste and greening your family's school/work lunches:

Bonus idea: Love the idea of adding a chalkboard fabric tag to your lunch bag or sandwich wraps for cute little messages, as shared at Small Friendly.
A utensil roll is also a great idea if you are more of a grab-and-go luncher. You can keep it in the car/office/purse and always have your own reuseable utensils and napkin at the ready.  If you're to DIY your own, you might find it helpful to check-out some of the tool or make-up brush roll DIYs nd adapt it for your utensil roll.  There aren't (yet) many utensil roll DIYs available, but these are VERY similar. Or you can try toting around an all-in-one multi-functional spork. :) On the subject of toting things around, if our missed our DIY insulated grocery tote bag earlier this week, you can check it out here.

Looking for more creative ideas? You can try the past Six for Saturday (or Sunday) posts, searching the blog under the DIY type of your preference, or I also have a whole board full of of tutorials and DIY on Pinterest along with stack of other creative pins.  If you decide to make something fabulous or post something special this weekend, you are welcome to share here in the comments or post something over at Creativity Unmasked on Facebook. We are all about sharing so, on our page, a little bit of creative self shout-out is actively encouraged.  Have a lovely creative weekend!
